Hello Dollies,

I'm Jeloco and I'm the new writer here on Stardoll Gossip.

Two new floors were released today from the Kitsch collection. This collection is extremely colourful and mainly uses neon colours. Personally I love this collection and I think the tiger is CUTE!!!

The prices are quite low compared to some other brands.

I'm just making this post if anyone wants to become a writer at Gossip-Stardoll. I know I wrote one before, but that was too long and didn't exactly point out what I'm looking for, so I just took these questions from a post Fiona wrote ages ago. Read below and answer in comments. Thanks!

1. Have you used blogger.com before? We need to know this because we need someone who is reasonably experienced at using blogger. If you haven't used blogger before, maybe you should try it out and apply next time.

2. Do you know how to add pictures to posts on blogger? The reason for this question is pretty obvious. :)

3. Are you reasonably experienced with taking screenshots and editing them? We need you to be able to produce pictures like we have on most of our posts. This is because posts are much more easy and fun to read if they have pictures. People get turned off by big blocks of writing with no pictures.

4. Do you have a good standard of English? We want to see well-written posts. We don't mind the odd grammar or spelling mistake, but we definitely don't want to see posts written in 'txt tlk'.

5. How often do you come on Stardoll? We want someone who logs on a lot and gets all the Stardoll news and gossip as it happens, not a week later :)

6. How often would you write posts for Gossip-Stardoll? We want to see a lot of posts, but only if you have something good to write about. We would love 1-3 posts a day, but if you can't do that, we don't want to see posts about boring topics, or just saying you're bored. You don't need to do 1-3 everyday, it's just a rough guideline.

7. Do you write for your own or someone elses blog/magazine? We want someone who will write posts exclusive to us. It's alright if you do write for someone else as long as you write different posts for both, as we don't want to have the same articles as another site. You can leave a link to a blog you've written for so we can see your writing style.

8. Why do you want to write for Gossip-Stardoll? Just a few sentences to let us know why we should choose you over everyone else.If you want to write for us for the fame or so you can advertise your club/blog/magazine, then don't bother applying. We want to deliver high quality gossip and news, we don't want our readers to be constantly advertised at.

Interview with husnecik96 and much more..

Hey guys!

Sorry I've been away WAY TOO LONG.I had exams and then everything just sorta...stopped. I mean, stardoll. I thought that after my exams I would be super addicted to stardoll but that really did not happen. I used to spend hours on Stardoll and never get bored. And now, after checking it for few minutes, I get really bored. I think it's because now things really have changed. Before, everyone used to rush to get the Limited Edit

ion and Antidote and what not. Now, it's just a mere store. Well, anyways, I've got to keep few promises. I still run my model club and I'm not a judge anymore, but Gossip-Stardoll still sponsors modeling clubs and magazines.

As we are a sponsor to the modeling club -NextTopModel- I am suppose to interview the winner of Cycle 3 : husnecik96

Q1 Have you participated in cycle 1 and 2 previously? And if not, how did you found out about the club? I unfortunately did not participate in Cycle 1 or 2 because I found the club just as the applications for Cycle 3 started. I found out about the club whilst browsing a friend's page.

Q2 How did it feel to be one of the 13 contestants? I was extremely happy and glad that I can show my creativity in a modelling competition.

Q3 Were the tasks challenging? I didn't find most of the tasks challenging as I thoroughly thought about what I could do. I had a lot of inspiration from my surroundings fo

r some of the tasks.

Q4 Is so, anyone in particular? I could say that the task which required a lot of thought was the one where you had to represent a flower with your doll and outfit because I had so many ideas and it was a tough choice to choose only a couple to incorporate into the task. I wasn't sure on how I could show a flower in my doll, so I decided to incorporate the colours and meanings of it.

Q5 Who do you think was a tough competition and why? Definately! There were some AMAZING contestants, I was surprised when I came into the top three and then won! I was soooo happy! Every single contestant was brilliant though :)
Q6 How did it feel to be a part of the top 2? I honestly didn't think I would get to that stage. When I did, I worked as hard as I could to win- I mean if I competed up to here, I might as well just finish what I've started!

Q7 Was the last task challenging? Yes, but that is the whole point of the final it needs to challenge you and push your boundaries. I had no ideas, so I spent a while searching online for some ideas that I can use in my suite and doll. I found my research time very useful and I was proud of what I produced for the task.

Q8 What according to you is a model and who is your inspiration?
I always say that a model is a work of it is someone who can demonstrate you style and is someone who is confident and determined. My inspiration is Twiggy because she is stunning, but she is confident and she has a fashion style of which I can personally relate to.

Q9 What's your style mantra?
Just be yourself. A model is not someone who is fake and has a fake personality.

Q10 Last, Please give our lovely readers and wanna-be models an advice on winning such modeling competitions. Try your best! Don't leave a task half done and think it's okay. Work on it

until you feel proud of what you have produced. Most importantly, have fun and make some new friends!

Could Stardoll be possibly fading away..?

WOW!LONG TIME NO POSTING!I was thinking about something to write about and then I thought about something..where has stardoll gone? I mean, From the 5 years I've been here, things have changed.....A LOT. I mean from the makeover, to our favorite brands disappearing,(Sephora, DKNY,HK,MKA,SBHD,and so many more. (Sorry I abbreviated them all) And I mean, I just really miss the old Stardoll. But don't get me wrong..I LOVE making new friends and all but I just feel in such a different environment then in 2006-2007. I miss the crappy-made graphics...and I miss that you never heard ''hack'' or ''scam'' as often as we do now a days. I miss people trying to figure out the "STARDOLL EMPLOYEE CODE" when there never was one in the first place. (or so they say :o) I miss when we could put stars in our name {*Banana*} What I'm trying to say is, really, I miss you Stardoll..come back! Now we've all gotten used to the new stardoll and really couldn't give a s--- now. But don't you remember how it used to be? SD used to be Paper doll heaven, correct?Then they created the lovely Stardoll...could they really be turning into something like Disneydoll? I think the real question is..Is it that Stardoll is babying the site way too much..or is it that we're just growing up?  Could Stardoll be possibly be Fading....away from us before our very eyes?

Interview with EnchantedGirl7

Hey guys!

Sp I'm so sorry that I haven't been posting it's because of the holidays :)

I was travelling and I didn't have any internet access :(

So anyways, just to remind you guys again, I'm currently a judge for the modeling competition on Stardoll - Stardoll's Next Top Model. (club: -NextTopModel- )

It's going really good and the club has officially started it's 3rd cycle. :)

Since I was the judge for the 2nd cycle (and I will continue to be ) I examined everyone and noticed that everyone was just so talented! Stardoll has some very creative people :) The 13 girls chosen were completely amazing and it was a blast judging the cycle, giving scores for each task and finally eliminating. (I know, MEAN! XD) But at the end, 3 girls were chosen for the semi-finals:

EnchantedGirl7

Unfortunately, Sweet_gal11 was eliminated and the other 2 girls were left to fight for the title of the next top model. Both of the amazing girls, truly did their best and at the end the winner was chosen: EnchantedGirl7.

Since interviewing the winner is a part of the prizes, I'm here with an excellent interview of EnchantedGirl7, winner of cycle 2 !

Q1 Have you participated in cycle 1?

No, I only just joined the club before cycle 2 applications so it was all new to me.

Q2 When you were a part of the top 13, how did it feel?

It felt really good, I was really happy! I was pretty surprised that out of so many girls my application was picked and I was very grateful, but it was also quite serious. It made me realise I was here for a reason and I needed to put in all of my effort.

Q3 Do you think that the tasks were tough?

It totally depends. Some tasks I found quite simple because they were to do with my interests but others I had no idea what to do and wasnt very pleased with my final result. Overall, yes the tasks are hard! You need to be really creative and think out of the box.

Q4 Who, according to you, was a tough competition? and why?

To be honest, I cant really tell. Everyone was amazing! I thought I had no chance against sweet_gal11 because she was medoll of the month and seemed very experienced (she came third in the cycle.) Also bearbear1234, who I was up against in the final, had some outstanding ideas and was really sweet. I definitely thought she would win.

Q5 what was it like when you found out that you were in the top 2?

It was amazing! I had no idea I would get so far and was pretty proud of myself as I had never done anything like that before. It was really confidence boosting and was very exciting because if I won there was a chance I could kick start my modelling career.

Q6 Was the last task tough?

Yeah it was. I`ve always loved Lady Gaga and as I was reading the task, tons of possibilites were fizzling in my mind. The final task as not one of my best though, as I`ve never been very good at sort of portraying feeling in a scenery, but luckily my outfit and makeup helped me a lot.

Q7 The winning moment: How did it feel? What was your reaction?

As I scrolled down to see who the winner was, I felt it was unlikely that I would win. I really didnt think I stood a chance. It was a huge shock! I just started grinning and couldnt stop :D It was an amazing feeling. If I didnt win, I think I`d still be feeling really proud of myself as I`ve never really been the competitive sort. Im more sort of dreamy and dopey!

Q8 In your own words, tell us what a model is

I think a model is someone who is not only beautiful on the outside, but on the inside too. Her beauty inside must shine through. Beauty is not being tall and slim with big blue eyes and glossy hair. I mean if barbie was real with proportions like the doll, she wouldnt be able to live. Sadly, in the fashion industry they are only considering the outside beauty but just be confident and have fun. That is what makes a person beautiful. Though, I didnt really answer your question properly. A model needs to stand out from the crowd and embrace there flaws. Take Lindsey Wixson for example, with her plump beestung lips and gap in her teeth, she stands out from the crowd and is now one of the biggest names in fashion!

Q9 Last, Please give all the readers and wannabe models a piece of advice.

Hmm, what can I say? Just take a risk, be creative as possible and have fun while your doing it. Researching the topic always helps and looking for inspiration is something that helped me a lot too. You have to be different and stand out.
